Frequently Asked Questions

Brain Wave Harmonics is the Science of analyzing Brain Waves to assess rapport and potential compatibility between two or more people.

It’s also the World’s First  Matching Service to Measure, Record, Analyze and Compare Brain Wave Frequencies with the goal of bringing “Like-Minded” people together!

Brain Wave profile samples are recorded from two or more people. These profiles are scientifically analyzed and compared, using a variety of criteria, for similarities, synchronicity and other factors that determine an overall degree of “Harmonic Compatibility” expressed as a percentage on a scale from 0 to 100%.

Simply that two Brain Wave Profiles are either “on the same wavelength” (frequency), “in tune” with each other, “in sync” (as opposed to “out of sync”) or on “harmonious” frequencies (as opposed to “discordant” frequencies).

Why yes, I’m glad you asked!

In terms of Physics, Brain Waves function exactly the same as Sound Waves (or Light Waves or Ocean Waves or any other Wave for that matter). So let’s use Sound Waves and a Musical Analogy.

Think of the Musical Scale and the piano keyboard. Every musical note has a distinct frequency.
For example, the musical note A above Middle C has a frequency of 440 Hz. Two “A” tuning forks will both vibrate at the same 440 Hz frequency and can be said to vibrate “on the same wavelength”.

In addition, “A” will also vibrate in harmony with other frequencies that make up a musical triad. In this case the notes, C# & E.

So, in very basic and simplified terms, if Alice is an “A”, she would “resonate” harmoniously with Adam (A), Charles (C#) and Edward (E) but clash discordantly with George (G) and Bob (B).

Likewise, you could think of Light Waves and the Color Spectrum
in which some colors will blend harmoniously while other color combinations will clash.

Obviously this is an extreme oversimplification!
In practice, Brain Wave Harmonics actually analyzes and compares
over 48 different elements when comparing Brain Wave profiles.

So far, preliminary research indicates that people who have harmonious relationships also have a high degree of harmonic compatibility (over 90%) while people with contentious relationships have a lower degree of harmonic compatibility (less than 40%).

It should be noted, though, that “compatibility” involves numerous factors beyond just having harmonious Brain Waves. The usual factors of personality, lifestyle, common goals, finances, children etc. still play a major role in determining relationship “compatibility”.

However, there are indications that, all other things being equal, being “on the same wavelength” may enhance communication between two people which, in turn, can make it easier to resolve any other issues.

This is a subject for extensive long-term study. But certain things are already known which can affect us all for better or worse.

For one thing, we know that alcohol and drugs will significantly alter our Brain Waves. It’s been well-documented that couples who are compatible when drinking often lose their connection when one or both suddenly become sober. It’s very possible that, in this situation,  formerly harmonious Brain Waves might become discordant once the effects of alcohol wear off.

Likewise, our Brain Waves may simply drift “out of tune” over time. Thus a once “madly-in-love” honeymoon couple may become more like strangers years later. In such cases, it’s quite possible that their Brain Waves have literally “drifted apart” over time.

For example, going back to our musical analogy, suppose that Charles and Cindy were both solid “C”s on the day they met. They felt an immediate connection and quickly developed a rapport so close that they frequently finished each others sentences.

But suppose that, years later, Cindy’s primary Brain Wave frequency has gradually drifted from a “C” down to a “B” while, at the same time, Charles’ has drifted up slightly to a “C#”. This would be a very discordant combination and they may find themselves
frequently “clashing” over anything and everything.  Like a radio that has drifted “off station” it becomes necessary to “adjust the dial”.

Fortunately, Brain Wave Entrainment techniques can allow people to deliberately manipulate their Brain Waves within limits. In Charles & Cindy’s case, it may be possible to bring their Brain Waves back into alignment and possibly restore their rapport and ability to communicate, perhaps mending their relationship in the process.

Brain Wave Harmonics has an application in virtually all of our inter-personal relationships. Romantic, Social, Business, Family etc.

Besides the obvious Dating applications, the process can also be used when choosing a business partner, a roommate or putting together a project team etc. The technology can even be used in interrogations where establishing a rapport between a subject and an interrogator can yield important information more quickly.

Basically there are applications in any situation where a good rapport and communication is necessary or desireable. The possibilities are limitless.

Because everyone’s Brain Wave patterns are unique, when converting them to music, everyone has their own, unique, individual “song” which can be captured and recorded.  In addition, when comparing two Brain Wave profiles, these two individual songs can be combined into a  one-of-a-kind “Duet” which gives new meaning to the phrase “Our Song”.

When converting Brain Waves to music, it was discovered that the result was unexpectedly melodic.
To help fund further Brain Wave research, “Random Thoughts”, the World’s first album consisting entirely of Brain Wave generated music, has been compiled for release later this year. A sample can be heard elsewhere on this Web Site.

While plans are being developed to automate the process online, Brain Wave Harmonics is currently available only to those living in or traveling to the Southern California area.
